Iranian Experts Manufacture Low-Cost Agricultural Machinery Based on New Technologies
“These products which have been produced based on the latest technologies prevent imports and reduce the costs to one third of similar foreign samples,” Ahmad Hashemi, an assistant professor of the department of electrical engineering at Islamic Azad University’s Kermanshah branch told ANA.
“The agricultural machinery produced by this center is sold to the market at a third of the price of a similar foreign product,” he added
Hashemi noted that two knowledge-based products made by the experts at the center have been commercialized and are in the semi-industrial stage.
In a relevant development in July, an Iranian knowledge-based company had also succeeded in development of a smart automation system which can be used by farmers and cattle breeders.
“Our knowledge-based company is active in the field of consulting, designing, and building smart automation systems for agriculture and animal husbandry, which brings together a number of the best industrial experts in various areas and focuses on the role of modern agriculture in preventing waste,” Ahmad Rouhani, the manager of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
He added that the smart automation system produced by his company helps monitor the environmental parameters affecting the production process and control it in the shortest possible time.
“The system greatly reduces the amount of capital loss caused by human error or the delay in human reactions and it enjoys the capability to increase the user's ability for future planning and predicting many challenges ahead,” Rouhani said.
