Iran-Made Oxygenators Vying with US, German Counterparts
Bahman Taheri, the managing director of Arya Rad Company, said the oxygenators have been supplied to the domestic market.
“The Iranian oxygenators meet the world’s latest standards,” he highlighted.
The oxygenator substitutes for the patient’s native lungs and performs the essential function of gas exchange.
Typically, oxygenators have a static priming volume of 135 to 340 mL, but domestically-made systems can easily provide a continuous flow of up to seven liters.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of the Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event which was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 1, 2022.
Taheri represented the Islamic Azad University, Ardebil branch, in the event.
The company has been introduced as the exemplary knowledge-based company of Ardebil province and the superior technological company of Ardebil.
Taheri pointed out that the system can also operate using a car’s battery. This is an advantage in comparison with foreign-made systems.
