Iranian Company Supplies Civil Engineering Laboratory Equipment to Canada
“Our company's equipment is used in the calculations of construction systems and the construction of large dams, road construction and civil structures that work with soil and stone,” Manouchehr Hejazi, the managing director of a knowledge-based company said.
“Two years ago, we were able to defeat other opponents both in terms of price and quality, and we sold three direct cutting machines to a large Canadian university. That was done while we had many problems in terms of shipping through Iranian customs and settling the account through the target university.”
“Also, the equipment made in this company has been presented to different [Iranian] universities including Sharif University of Technology, Amir Kabir University of Technology, Sahand University of Technology and Shahid Madani University of Azerbaijan,” Hejazi added.
The managing director of the company further stated that the price of the product is about 30-50% lower than its equivalents, adding, “The price of our products ranges from $4,000 to $80,000.”
Apart from the lower price, Hejazi pointed to after sales services for up to 10 years and one year warranty as other advantages of their company’s products.
The 11th Laboratory Material and Equipment Exhibition of Iran is going to be held from January 2th to 5th, 2024, according to the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy. The event will be held in different sections such as oil and petrochemical, electronics and software and simulators, civil engineering and construction, mechanics, chemistry and metallurgy, agriculture and environment, basic physics, general laboratory equipment, laboratory materials, medical engineering and biomaterials, scaffolding services, calibration services, and educational and laboratory equipment.
