Tabriz IAU to Host 3rd Int'l Accounting Conference
“Hosting the conference as the most important and prestigious accounting conference in the country for the first time since 2021 has been given to a non-state university,” said Rasool Baradaran, the Scientefic Secretary of the 21st National Accounting Conference and the 3rd International Accounting Conference which will be held in Tabriz Islamic Azad University later in October.
He said that the jury will decide on the submitted articles and papers in the conference in five specialized phases, adding that as many as 280 articles were submitted and more than 160 articles were accepted.
He highlighted the publication of selected articles in eight prestigious practical journals in the country.
Meanwhile, Mehdi Zainali, the Executive Secretary of the 21st National Conference and the 3rd International Accounting Conference, said for his part, “Considering that there are 60 financial and spiritual sponsors in this conference, we do not need a university budget and we are trying to ensure that the sponsors of this conference provide stability and resilience of the work done in the stands.”
“A memorandum of understanding between the country's Stock Exchange Organization and the university and two other academic contracts with the provincial gas company and Azerbaijan copper are among the measures that will be taken in this conference,” Zainali added.
