The system was produced by the company LAJVAR Industrial Group based in Arak at the order of the Ardabil Airport located in the city of Ardabil in the Northern part of Iran.

A number of officials from the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran and other officials were present in the unveiling ceremony of the system.

In the ceremony, Mir Saeed Safinia, the Director General of Airport Equipment and Systems of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC) told reporters, “The total cost of the system was about 15 billion tomans while if we wanted to import it, it would cost the country more than 50 billion tomans.”

Moreover, Hamidreza Mahdinia, the CEO of LAJVAR Industrial said that the group with an experience of forty years is the first and largest manufacturer of hydraulic lifts, jacks, and cranes in the country. It has produced 57 product models and 5,500 lifts and cranes until today, he added.

“When the plane flies at a high altitude, it freezes, but now LAJVAR has designed a device so that the planes will not face that problem anymore. The design and making of this device took two years due to the high technology used in it and some of its hydraulic parts that were foreign-made and imported and difficult to get to us due to the sanctions,” the CEO further said.
