Iranian Knowledge-Based Firms to Participate in Digitec23 Expo in Armenia
The Iranian knowledge-based companies will showcase their IT, ICT, software, Internet technologies, and e-commerce products at the exhibition which will be held in Yerevan on October 13-15, 2023.
One of the programs of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund of Iran to help the development of the export market of knowledge-based companies is to support the presence of these companies in permanent foreign exhibitions as well as participation in prestigious international exhibitions in two forms of independent presence and setting up a pavilion.
Last year, Iran announced that an Iranian House of Innovation and Technology (IHIT) was to be established in Armenia with the aim of developing the export of Iranian knowledge-based products.
In June 2022, Armenian Ambassador to Iran Arsen Avagyan met with Iranian deputy science minister Vahid Haddadi Asl to discuss ways to broaden ties in the fields of science and technology.
The two sides underlined readiness to exchange university students, transfer technology, and create research centers.
