Iranian-Turkish “Silent Tree” Wins 25 Int’l Film Awards

The Iranian-Turkish joint production completed its two-year festival tour, receiving awards at 25 out of 60 international film festivals in which the film had participated.

The film revolves around a writer's life on the brink of separation from his wife, uncovering secrets from his father's past, leading him on a new path.

Starring Serdar Orçin, Sezin Akbaşoğulları, Ali Mert Yavuzcan and Kübra Kip, the film premiered on September 7, 2022 in selected cinemas by in the Art & Experience Cinemas (Iran) and later in Turkish cinemas. It is now available for passengers on Turkish Airlines.

"The Silent Tree" was produced in collaboration with Farabi Cinema Foundation, TRT Turkey's Cinema Section, and the Turkish Ministry of Culture's Cinema Department in Turkey.
