Environmentally Friendly Nano Sublimation Ink Produced in Iran

Sublimation is the transition of a substance directly from the solid phase to the gas phase without passing through the intermediate liquid phase.

Nano ink is characterized by great tracing of colors, good fluidity, and stability.

Amir Rezvani Moqadam, the managing director of the company, said the company is active in the field of digital printing which is new in the domestic industrial sector.

The paperless direct sublimation transfer printing system optimizes excellent color reproducibility of the ink, reduces paper costs and wastage, and increases productivity. It enables users to print their favorite pictures on textiles, cups, cell phones, and clothing easily without the need for large industrial printers.

The nano sublimation ink has been produced in the country for the first time by this company, he said, adding that the product was previously imported from foreign companies.

Rezvani Moqadam made the remarks on the sidelines of the 13th International Nanotechnology Festival and Exhibition which was held in Tehran from October 1 to 4.

With sublimation printing, any motif can easily and flexibly be printed with low price and transferred onto various materials, including complex photo motifs, for example. Sublimation printing is also characterized by its high precision, which enables the printing of detailed designs.

These printers are conveniently available and the ink which is used in cartridges is sublimation ink. The picture is printed on paper and then it is placed on the final material to be printed using a thermal pressing machine in a few seconds.

Rezvani Moqadam went on to say that the product’s formulation is environmentally friendly without harmful solutions such as formalin and alkyl phenol that are approved by environmental standards in the US and Europe.

The product is cost-effective compared with foreign-made samples and can be exported to regional countries, he stressed.

The IRANANO exhibition hosted representatives of India, Syria, Mexico, China, Malaysia, Ethiopia, Brazil, Indonesia, Iraq, and Thailand.

Over 1,200 homegrown products from over 250 knowledge-based companies in the fields of construction, polymer, paint and resin, automotive and transportation, medicine and health, water and environment, agriculture and packaging, oil, gas and petrochemicals, and textile were displayed in the exhibition.
