Iran Produces 218,000 Tons of Aluminum Ingots Production in 1st 4 Months
TEHRAN (ANA)- The country's aluminum ingot production reached more than 218,000 tons during the first four months of this year of 1402 in the Iranian calendar.
According to the statistics released by Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation, known as IMIDRO, four companies producing aluminum ingots in Iran produced 218,532 tons of aluminum ingots from the beginning of this year in the Iranian calendar (beginning on March 22, 2023) to the end of Month Tir (July 22th).
However, the figures show that the overall aluminum production decreased by 2% compared to the same period last year which was 223,781 tons.
The total volume of aluminum ingot production in Iran was registered at more than 630,000 tons in 1401 (March 21, 2022-2023), showing a 13% as compared to the year before in the Iranian calendar.
