Khalilnejad went on to stress the necessity of using the potential that knowledge-based companies have in producing eyewear frames, saying, those firms’ production of frames will not only create jobs but also will save the country a lot of money by preventing imports.
The trade union official emphasized the market's need for technological products, noting, “Supporting producers and knowledge-based companies gives them the opportunity to produce glasses lenses and frames needed in the market in accordance with the customers' tastes and according to the modern science, production method and encourages them to export their products to the global market after meeting domestic needs.”
“Producers in this industry have the capability to compete in the market with scientific capabilities, but what matters most here is to support innovative producers. Certainly, providing funds and other support to newly emerging companies in this industry can create a major shift in the production and supply chain,” Khalilnejad further said.
“Iranian manufacturing companies have succeeded in making multi-purpose sunglasses with the help of nano technology, something that can also happen in other production fields such as frames and lenses production field,” he continued.
