The four new technological achievements include 16-band BTS hybrid 5G antenna, hydrochloric acid recycling unit by evaporative method, microsilate chip for separation of cancer cells circulating in the blood and Kimiacel product made from mesenchymal stromal cells.

The hydrochloric acid with a concentration of 17% is the most common acid washing agent for steel acid washing. The used acid resulting from acid washing is called burnt acid output of the acid washing unit and this acidic waste contains water, hydrochloric acid and iron chloride.

Kimiacel is a cell product in which clonal mesenchymal stromal cells derived from human bone marrow are used. In general, mesenchymal stromal cells derived from bone marrow have the ability to self-renew and differentiate into various types of specialized cells, including blood, heart, nerve, bone and cartilage cells;

therefore, they can be transplanted into damaged tissues where most of their cells have been destroyed and replace the damaged cells and repair and fix the defects of that tissue.

A BTS antenna with simultaneous coverage of 2G/3G/4G/5G with 32 ports, in accordance with the latest technology of foreign manufacturers, has been made by the ACECR unit of Khajeh Nasiruddin Tousi University.

The CTC kit was designed and built at Motamed Cancer Research Center of the ACECR as part of the research project titled ‘detection and isolation of cancer cells in the patient's bloodstream using microfluidic chips to assess the disease state and monitor response to the treatment’.

Royan Institute was established in 1991 by a group of researchers and physicians in Iran University of Medical Sciences of ACECR as an outpatient surgery center to provide medical services to infertile couples as well as research and training in reproductive sciences.
