Kamran Matin, a member of the board of directors of the company, said designing and manufacturing the integrated peripheral security system as well as closed circuit cameras has been made at 10 percent of the price of foreign-made systems.

An integrated Security system is a centralized platform combining various security perimeters such as wireless alarm systems, access control devices, video surveillance, etc. This integration allows for ease in managing all these supposedly different components and further allows bringing a greater layer of security for the organization.

The integrated peripheral security system and closed circuit cameras developed by the company are intended to increase security at large industrial places, he told ANA.

In case of any invasion of privacy to protected areas, microwave sensors equipped with advanced digital processing units send exact information to authorities.

The system has the advantage of being stable and precise in different weather conditions. It provides accurate incident notifications at night and in all weather conditions like foggy weather, dusty environment, and rainy weather.

Utilizing state-of-the-art systems for smart surveillance can increase security at large industrial places to a great extent. In the past, physical inspection and guardianship were carried out to prevent any possible security harm in such environments.

The integrated peripheral security system is economically justified compared with other security systems, Matin said, adding that Iranian experts have managed to provide the possibility of using several systems at a single place to increase the level of security.

The system has so far been installed at some petrochemical plants and power plants, he noted. The integrated peripheral security system was previously imported from Russia and England.

The security system can also be used at border security stations, barracks, piers, and docks, as well as educational and residential buildings.

In line with the law enforced on May 24, knowledge-based production is a priority of the government so the plan for promoting knowledge-based products has progressed well so far.

To this end, the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology has executed and supported several projects toward the goal of boosting knowledge-based production.
