Three Iranian Robotic Teams to Participate at Beijing World Robot Conference 2023
Speaking in a news conference held at the University of Tehran, Parisa Afshar, the instructor of the Creativity League to prepare the Iranian student robotic teams to participate at 2023 Beijing Robotics Competition, said that “The competition has not put any rules on robot designs, and each team must implement their innovative and creative ideas on their robots.”
“The teams of this league presented creative ideas, one of which is the presentation of a robot that improves autism. This robot has provided a solution to help children with autism,” she went on to say.
“Another robot that is presented to this league is the nurse or mother assistant who is placed next to the mother or nurse in kindergartens or homes,” Afshar added.
The instructor of the Creativity League continued that the elderly robot is one of the other projects of this team that helps the elderly.
Moreover, Najafi, another instructor of the Creativity League, said in the same news conference that the Rugby League will be held in two divisions of senior and junior, adding, “Because the robots encounter each other and they quite possibly hit each other, so the body of these robots is made of metal.”
Furthermore, in the same press conference at Tehran university, Nader Nobakht, the head of the Iranian robotic teams that will be dispatched to China robotic competition said that the Iranian team will leave for Beijing on August 7.”
Nobakht added that the Iranian students robotic teams will compete in 5 leagues (contests) with other countries.
The World Robot Conference 2023 (WRC 2023) will be held in Beijing from August 16 to 22.
