Ultra-Low Freezers, also known as Low Temp freezers or ULT Freezers, are designed specifically for laboratories to preserve biological samples. An ultra-low freezer provides stable temperatures from minus 40 Celsius and minus 86 Celsius down to minus 150 Celsius.

Sarkhosh, the managing director of the company, told ANA that the achievement has been made relying on the expertise and knowledge of Iranian experts.

Regarding -86°C ultra-low temperature freezers being manufactured by the company, Sarkhosh said that in line with materializing national goals, boosting domestic production, and creating a competitive atmosphere among Iranian producers, the product has succeeded in meeting the needs of government organizations.

The company has developed an upgraded product with a new technological design. The product is equipped with an enhanced freezing system, enabling it to reach a real temperature of minus 86 Celsius.

This is very important for the system to remain stable at the mentioned temperature in different situations.

Moreover, the loss of temperature and energy is the lowest level thanks to its high-quality insulation design.

The Iranian-made system has the advantage of being stable at the real temperature of minus 86 Celsius because very valuable samples are kept inside the system and any kind of instability can cause irreparable losses.

For example, the coronavirus vaccine is required to be stored at below minus 70 Celsius. So, the system can fully meet the needs of the medical sector in this regard.

In the current [Iranian calendar] year (March 2022-March 2023), new approaches have been taken to support knowledge-based companies both in terms of quality and quantity in line with realizing the goal of a knowledge-based economy, Iran National Innovation Fund director Ali Vahdat has said.

So far, over 7,000 knowledge-based and 1,600 creative companies have been registered and started operations across the country.
