Antibacterial Airplane Blanket Produced in Iran
‘Zarbaf Amin Textile Industries’ company has made the product which is an antibacterial aircraft blanket made of polyester and acrylic fabrics containing nanoparticles to kill bacteria and microbes.
Application of nanoparticles into the fabric has led to the emergence of antibacterial properties in the product.
The nano-based fabric can be used in making antibacterial blanket for airplanes which increases the lifespan of the blanket.
In a relevant development earlier this month, Iranian scientists at a nanotechnology company had also succeeded in making a special antibacterial cover for aircraft seats.
‘Tiz Tak’ company made the antibacterial flame-retardant nanoparticle-containing fabric for making the aircraft seat cover to prevent the transmission and growth of pathogenic bacteria, fungi, and microorganisms.
The inclusion of nanoparticles in the fabric has led to emergence of durable antibacterial property.
