Gachsaran Petrochemical Plant Put into Operation Financed by Iran's Bank Saderat
The Gachsaran Petrochemical Corporation was put into operation with 40 trillion rials (Iranian currency) financed by Bank Saderat.
According to the public relations of Saderat Bank of Iran, the inauguration of the Gachsaran Petrochemical coincided with the two-day visit of the President Raeisi to Kohgiluyeh and Boyar Ahmad province, during which the operation of Gachsaran Petrochemical started in the presence of Amir Yousefian, a member of the board of directors of Saderat Bank of Iran.
He explained the bank's role in financing the plant’s operationalization, saying, “Gachsaran Petrochemical Co. is one of the largest ethylene producing petrochemical plants in the country, which has become operational with a capacity of one million tons per year.”
“Saderat Bank of Iran, with the goal of supporting development of production and employment in under-developed areas in the country, put on its agenda financing Gachsaran Petrochemical and as the main lender in the country's banking system, it has allocated more than 40 trillion rials to this project,” Yousefian added.
“Bank Saderat of Iran is one of the main financers of this company,” Yousefian said, adding that operationalizing the petrochemical corporation will save the country huge amount of money through domestically producing different products.
The member of board of directors of Saderat Bank further said that through the Gachsaran plant, jobs were created for more than 3,500 people eatiher directly or indrectly.
