Iranian-Made Fire-Retardant Cover Superior to German Rival in Quality
Morteza Hosseini, the managing director of Noavaran Kimiya Mehraz Company, said that in cooperation with a number of academic experts experienced in the oil, gas, petrochemical, and steel industries the company managed to produce the fire-retardant cover which was previously imported.
The product, which is used by different industries, such as petrochemical, oil, gas, and cement, was imported from SVT, KBS, and Hilti companies of Germany, and from other countries including Italy and China, he added.
Hosseini made the remarks on the sidelines of the Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event which was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 1, 2022.
The fire-retardant cover has been produced via using minerals and substances that are found in the country, he said, adding that the product has a thermal resistance of at least 1,200 Celsius compared with 700 Celsius of foreign-made products. Moreover, it leaves no pollution and is environmentally friendly.
