Oleophobic Cover Produced by Iranian Firm for Gas Stoves
‘Arkan Sakhtar Novin Iranian’ company has made the product which is an oleophobic coating filled by nanoparticles, and can be applied on glass parts of gas stoves to facilitate the cleaning process.
Utilization of nanoparticles in the coating has led to facile removal of contaminants.
In a relevant development, an Iranian knowledge-based company succeeded in making special chemical nanotechnology-based products which can keep clean surfaces without any need to water or detergents.
‘Yavar Nanozist’ company is a technological unit stationed in the center of technological units of Islamic Azad University’s Yadegar Emam branch in Shahr-e Rey which has managed to manufacture the products.
“The city’s cleanness is highly important for the mental health of the citizens. These products can keep surfaces clean and without any dust with no water, detergent or any mechanical work. Considering the lack of water in Iran and the saving costs, the need to use such products is felt,” Sousan Samadi, a faculty member of the chemistry group of the Islamic Azad University’s Yadegar Emam branch, told ANA.
Elaborating on the specifications of the products, she said that car body nano ceramic product (TiSiNa-CBC) is a kind of liquid polymer that is poured on the car body and after combining with the car’s paint, it creates a hydrophobic layer on the outer surface of the car’s body paint which enjoys water-repellent properties. This feature protects the car body more against dust and keeps the appearance of the car shiny and clear.
Samadi added that car body hydrophobic product (TiSiNa-HCB), is another product of the company which creates a polysiloxane film and makes the car body hydrophobic and prevents water droplets from remaining on the body, noting that it prolongs the lifespan of the body, specially on rainy days because it prevents water and mud from remaining on the body.
