‘Fanavaran Nano Meqyas’, ‘Nano Tar Pak’, ‘Oxin Sabz Spadan’, ‘Nano Fanavaran Khavar’, ‘Imen Mask Azar’ and ‘Zist Abzar Pazhuhan’ are the companies which have made the product which is a respiratory mask containing nanometric fibers, enabling the filtration of floating solid particles up to 0.3 micrometers.

The application of nanofibers in the mask has resulted in improving the protection efficiency of the mask against various types of pollutants and increasing the absorption rate of fine-grained aerosol particles.

The mask provides sufficient protection against the polluted air, protection against dusts and aerogels in industrial environments, protection against allergens (up to 300 nm in size), and protection for the respiratory system against the pulmonary infections and respiratory diseases.

Earlier this year, a team of Iranian researchers had also managed to produce a special face mask integrated with a nanosensor that is able to detect the coronavirus.

In addition to detecting Covid-19 from a person's exhaled air, the mask can detect diseases such as diabetes as well as lung and kidney problems.

The service is provided with the aim of supporting new start-ups and creative ideas, in line with the goal of developing fast and innovative laboratory diagnosis methods to be used in clinical, environmental, and food safety sectors.

The products are used in the non-invasive diagnosis of respiratory diseases using the analysis of exhaled air metabolites.
