“The knowledge-based company, as the largest producer of industrial parts in Iran, enjoys the capacity of producing 40,000 tons of all types of industrial parts,” Mohammad Sajedi, a representative of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.

“Our company has taken a big step towards self-sufficiency and entered the global markets by manufacturing modern and unique equipment like counterblow hammer, hydraulic press and rolling ring,” he added.

“The latest product of the knowledge-based company is steel, aluminum and copper rings with a diameter of up to five meters with the best quality and in accordance with international standards,” Sajedi said, adding that they have been produced for the first time in Iran and the Middle East.

He explained that these rings, specially the steel ones, are turned into flanges after machining, which are used to connect wind turbine bases or other parts, adding that the knowledge-based company provides the needs of infrastructure industries by producing and providing the highest quality special steel pipes and flange fittings, couplings, reducers, caps, etc.

Noting that the steel rings of this company are used in oil, petrochemical, gas, auto-making, instrument making and other industries, Sajedi said, “These rings are used in construction of tanks, pipelines, wind turbines, and gas compressors.”

He underlined that the quality of products of the Iranian knowledge-based company is much higher than foreign samples and its price is more affordable.

Reports said in December that the value of Iran’s petrochemical exports rose by 30% year on year in the 7 months of the last Persian calendar year (started on March 21, 2022).

The Iranian oil ministry announced that the nominal capacity of Iran’s petrochemical industry in 2001 hit about 16 million tons, the rate of which stood at about 90 million tons this year, showing considerable growth during these years.

Despite the imposition of tough and cruel sanctions against the Iranian petrochemical industry, they could not halt the country’s petrochemicals export.
