Irrigation of Smart Greenhouses with Iran-Made Ozone Generator
“Our company works in the field of spectroscopic identification of different types of light with micro-spectrophotometer and mini-spectrometer devices, which work to identify color and light wavelengths,” Maryam Bahreini, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
“This device has many uses in the laboratory sector (chemistry laboratory and materials laboratory) and research, and can also be used in smart greenhouses,” she added.
“Our device is used in areas of smart greenhouses and artificial lighting, which requires measuring the wavelength of light, because in these greenhouses we need to know the wavelengths,” Bahreini said.
“In the field of plasma, we have two products of the plasma-activated water device and the ozone production device, both of which are clearly used in agriculture,” she stated
“Plasma activated water can be utilized to irrigate plants and leads to fertilization, pest control and increase in plant growth.
Ozone devices are also used to disinfect the environment to increase the growth of mushrooms and any food that we want to have a longer life,” Bahreini said.
Relevant reports in May also said that experts at an Iranian company managed to manufacture various kinds of reinforced irrigation components for the agricultural industry.
The company has also succeeded in exporting the products to the neighboring countries. The products are exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, Armenia, and Tajikistan.
Kinds of threaded coupling, coupling, plug, elbow, knee, butterfly valve, ball valve, and U-PVC polymer parts have been produced by the company.
Due to the use of nanoparticles, the new components’ impact resistance has been increased and the strength has reached its maximum value.
The products are used in agriculture. High durability and low price compared to foreign models are the competitive advantages of the company's products.
