Seyyed Sadegh Mahmoudi Hashemi, the representative of the Iranian private sector company announced the production of the plant extracts homogenizing device while participating in an exhibition dubbed "AbadIran" that kicked off in Tehran on Tuesday June 13, 2023.

The exhibition is held by the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science and technology with the aim of introducing the capabilities of knowledge-based companies to eradicate poverty in under-developed areas across the country.

“This device was designed and manufactured in one of the knowledge-based companies and we are just utilizing it,” Mahmoudi Hashemi said.

Regarding the plant extracts homogenizing device, he said that it has broad applications in different fields.

He added that they are going to use the homogenizer device in the field of plant extraction hemogenzation.

According to him, the homogenizer device physically transforms (crushes) the desired material into small and uniform sizes.

“Homogenizing device as compared to older methods produces higher quality products while it produces less environmental pollution, while it comes with lower probability of spreading disease, less noise and higher speed,” he added.

Mahmoudi Hashemi went on to note that the homogenizer is used in many research and scientific fields such as forensic medicine, microbiology, biotechnology, veterinary medicine, chemistry, geology, metallurgy, bioecology, food and beverage control, pharmaceuticals and nutrition.

“A homogenizer is used to homogenize and crush materials such as soil, plants, food, body parts of organisms such as bones, teeth, hair, blood, fungi, bacteria, etc.” the researcher continued.
