Iranian Researchers Design Integrated Computer System to Mechanize Different Industries
"This company operates in the field of Management Information System (MIS) and designs Industrial softwares,” Alireza Safaei, the managing director of a knowledge-based company "Wosough Amid Gostaran" located in Islamic Azad University's Ahvaz branch said in an interview with ANA news agency on the sidelines of Asr-e Omid Sirjan exhibition with the product " Management Information System."
“This integrated computerized system consists of a group of connected and related software that records the data of different departments at an organization and gives the necessary information to support operations and decision-making by managers at different levels,” he added.
“Our MIS is especially designed for petrochemical industries; but it is also used in other industries. We have supplied this locally-made product to two petrochemical companies so far. This system has the management information of 16 subsystems that are linked to each other in an integrated way,” the managing director of the knowledge-based company further said.
"This software can completely mechanize an industry in terms of production control, general engineering, laboratory, proposals/suggestions system, etc.,” Safaei added.
Safaei, who is a professor of Islamic Azad University's Mahshahr branch, added, “We have implemented and sold eight products so far, and we are working on 16 new products.”
“We need the support of Islamic Azad University, research centers and industries,” he added.
He further pointed to the advantage of using the MIS, saying that their products are much reasonably priced as compared to similar products imported from overseas.
Asr-e Omid (Age of Hope) exhibition was held on the campus of Islamic Azad University-Sirjan branch in the city of Sirjan located in the southeastern Kerman Province on May 22-June 1, 2023.
