Iranian Knowledge-Based Firm Produces Automated Robotic Arms
Mohammad Hassan Karimi, the managing director of the knowledge-based company of "Arvand Mashin Paya" based in Islamic Azad University, Ahvaz branch, participated in an interview with ANA while attending the Asr-e Omid Sirjan exhibition.
“This company is operating in the field of designing and manufacturing smart and semi-smart automated robotic arms,” he said, adding those arms are effective and useful in light industries, moving products, packaging, welding, cutting, etc.
“Now, we are making its industrial prototype,” he added.
“These AR arms are effective in smart production line, welding, moving, packing and painting. This product has five degrees of freedom of movement and has the ability to lift loads between 10 and 100 kilograms,” Karimi said.
According to him, that AR technology is gaining more popularity because of their effectiveness and uses.
He also said that they reduce human errors in the assembly land production lines, stressing the need for Iranian factories to keep up with the changes in the machinery along with developed countries.
He further expressed hope that they will be able to export their AR arms one day after meeting the domestic needs.
Asr-e Omid (Age of Hope) exhibition was held on the campus of Islamic Azad University-Sirjan branch in the city of Sirjan located in the Southeastern Kerman Province on May 22-June 1, 2023.
