1st Postal Industry Exhibition in Iran Kicks Off
The first edition of postal industry exhibition started in the presence of Eissa Zarepour, the Iranian ICT minister, Mostafa Taheri, the Chairman of the Industries and Mines Commission at the Iranian Parliament, Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development, and deputy ICT ministers.
This exhibition was held with the aim of presenting the latest technologies, achievements and supply chain services in the postal industry with a focus on the digital transformation and intelligence approach.
Many industries and services such as transportation, smart logistics, e-commerce, environmental industries and manufacturers of related tools and products that are operating in postal industry ecosystem participated in the exhibition, and brought these components together in the event for the first time in Iran laid the ground for using the capabilities of the private sector in the development of postal services and the making post offices smart.
Moreover, 50 knowledge-based and technological companies showcased their latest achievements in the field of e-commerce and smart logistics in the exhibition.
The first edition of the postal industry exhibition was held at Imam Khomeini's Grand Mossala (Mosque) in Tehran for four days from May 29 to June 1st.
