Iran, Indonesia Broaden Technological Cooperation

TEHRAN (ANA)- An Iranian official at the presidential office said that Iran and Indonesia have a lot of potentials to develop their mutual technological cooperation.

Rouhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi, the Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy made the remarks in relation to the inauguration of Iranian-made Sina flex robotic surgery system in Indonesia which took place during a visit paid by a high-ranking Iranian delegation to the Muslim country headed by President Ebrahim Raeisi.

“Today, we are witnessing a successful scientific and technological cooperation between Iran and Indonesia. This success can progress further to the final stages, i.e. human trial and clinical phase and its utilization in the field of treatment,” Dehghani said.

“With the joint program that will be defined and detailed between Iran and Indonesia, we should start mutual cooperation in other fields of technology as well. In the planning and agreements that were made between the respective officials of the two countries, the preparations for technological cooperation in various areas were made, based on which, the technology exchange program between Iran and Indonesia will begin soon,” the Iranian official said, after referring to the potentials that the two countries have to enhance their technological cooperation.

He further expressed hope that these cooperation will lead to increased solidarity, broader cooperation and closer relations between the two countries.
