Iran's IAU to Open 1st Int'l College in Karaj Branch with 600 Initial Enrollments
Hossein Kalantari, the President of the Islamic Azad University (IAU)-Karaj branch in Alborz province, made the announcement while speaking to media.
He also said that the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence was once opened for the first time in the same IAU’s branch.
“In the field of education, measures such as the opening the artificial intelligence faculty were carried out for the first time in the IAU system in the Karaj branch,” Kalantari said, adding that the Karaj IAU university has now a total number of 5,000 students at different levels of bachelor’s, master’s and Ph.D degrees in different majors.
The karaj IAU president also said that the university will open an artificial intelligence exhibition later this year in October.
He further announced launching of two faculties of skills and entrepreneurship in the IAU Karaj and Hashtgerd branches.
Kalantari went on to announce the opening of six knowledge-based schools at the university, adding that four more schools will be inaugurated in the near future.
IAU Karaj branch president explained that the first international college in Karaj with 600 enrollments at first will be inaugurated soon, adding that the international college will increase its capacity to nearly 3,000 students in future.
He noted that their university ranks fourth among the biggest IAU branches in Iran.
