Iranian Expert Manufactures Drainage Floats with Plastic Injection Capability
“We are active under the title of central machine tools workshop and provide machining and mold design services. Now we have focused on drainage floats that perform plastic injection operations, meaning that when some parts need a casting mold, we design the casting mold and return it to the university for machining and send it to the market as drainage floats,” Sajjad Mazaheri, an expert at the laboratory of Islamic Azad University’s Tiran branch, told ANA on the sidelines of ‘Asreh Omid Event’.
He added that they have started their activities six years ago and their produced draining floats have been commercialized.
“At first, we had a small business and then we received the laboratory and central workshop licenses after going through the administrative processes, and now our activities are being carried out in the Saha complex (Azad Collaborative Laboratories System),” Mazaheri said.
Asreh Omid Event was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 01, 2022 to exhibit new achievements, equipment and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of establishment of the Islamic Azad University.
