Iranian Knowledge-Based Firm Makes Air Purifier with ‘Thermodynamic’ Technology
Mehdi Mer’ati, the managing director of the company, told ANA that the devices manufactured by his firm, in addition to purifying the air, also provide the possibility of sterilizing the air.
“Our air purifier enjoys the capability to purify the air from any type of pathogenic and non-pathogenic polluting particles like bacteria, viruses, fungi, molds, microorganisms, microbes, allergens, irritants and organic odors by using thermodynamic technology,” he stated.
Mer’ati said that the main difference between the air purifier produced in his company and other companies is the use of thermodynamic technology, adding, “The purifier works in a way that no germs and pollution remain in the air. In fact, the technology used in this device destroys all pollutants existing in the environment by generating heat of more than 200 degrees Celsius in the thermal tunnels.”
“Purification devices return sterilized air to the environment without using a fan due to the special systems mounted in the front part of the device. The devices are environmentally friendly and work in absolute silence, and are very suitable for use in the rest rooms and workplaces,” he noted.
In a relevant development earlier this year, Iranian researchers at a technological company had also managed to develop filters using plasma technology capable of purifying the air by 99 percent.
In addition to removing air pollution, the filter can eliminate up to 99 percent of viruses and microbes.
The research focuses on one of the applications of cold plasma, a partially ionized gas comprising ions, electrons, ultraviolet photons, and reactive neutrals such as radicals, excited and ground-state molecules.
A cold plasma air purifier is a device that significantly reduces harmful gases that contaminate the air.
This type of purifier is able to break down these dangerous contaminants into harmless molecules, making the air much safer to breathe.
