Iran Utilizes Micro, Nano-Scaled Materials for Producing Animal Feed
“Our company has developed micro- and nano- scaled encapsulation technology in a completely indigenous way and the technology is currently used in the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic and health industries. We are mass producing these materials for animal and poultry feeding,” Habib Ramezanzadeh, the chairman of the board of directors of this knowledge-based company said, according to the public relations department of the Innovation and Prosperity Fund.
He stated that the company is a knowledge and technology-based company that focuses on the production of molecular encapsulation.
“Our exclusive technology is microencapsulation of effective substances in the pharmaceutical, supplement, detergent, cosmetics, nutrition and animal feed industries. With this technology, the slow and controlled release of active substances from nano and micro-scaled microcapsules, control over the release pattern and particle size, and the conversion of oily active substances and insoluble solutes into water-soluble powder becomes possible,” he explained.
“Our technology makes the materials that can be consumed normally have more stability and better absorption in the body and complete dissolution in the water environment. In the meantime, the bad taste and smell of some of them is removed to a large extent,” the chairman of the board of directors of this knowledge-based company added.
Ramezanzadeh further vowed that the products produced in their company are completely competitive as compared to other similar products, adding, “Some of our products do not have foreign equivalents in principle, and those imported foreign equivalents are technically, qualitatively, and in terms of prices are not as good as our products. Our products have good competitiveness quality. At present, about 15 large pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and animal feed and poultry industry companies are major customers of our company's products.”
“Last year, we managed to export some of our products to Germany for the first time for use in the pharmaceutical industry, and we hope that this year we will be able to sell them in the target markets of Europe and Northern America, Russia, neighboring and Arab countries,” he continued.
Ramezanzadeh declared that their company has used the finances and facilities of Innovation and Prosperity Fund to produce knowledge-based micro- and nano-scale encapsulated products.
