Iranian Company Locally Manufactures Ventilator Pressure Regulator

“This regulator is actually the inlet part of artificial respiration machines and the pressure entering these machines. It fixes the air pressure at a certain rate, which usually is four secures the supply air pressure of artificial breathing machines,” Sadegh Sahraei, the managing director of the Iranian technological company, said about their company’s achievement, according to the public relations department of the Samen Health Research and Technology Fund.

“This product is used in respiratory machines such as ventilators, anesthesia machines, oxygen generators, etc.,” the researcher also said.

He mentioned the low price compared to similar foreign products, specialized design, high accuracy and performance and unconditional warranty as some of the advantages of their product, adding, “The most important advantage of this product for domestic customers is the possibility of customizing the product according to the needs of users. These regulators have not produced based on reverse engineering or simulation and instead are designed and manufactured by our company, so product customization is possible.”

Meanwhile, Hamidreza Farhadi, managing director of Samen Fund said that the medical regulators are used in breathing machines. Since this product is placed in the patient's respiratory circuit, they are a really critical part and should have a good time response and pressure adjustment accuracy, and the material of its parts should be compatible with medical gases.”

“The products of the company are tested according to standard testers (ISO5167, ISO6358, ISIRI 11715-4),” Farhadi also said.
