Iranian Firm Produces Herbal Creams to Cure Varicose Veins, Reduce Blood Sugar
“Our activities are focused on production of health-oriented products in the field of herbal medicine. We produce the mentioned medicines based on extraction of active ingredient of the herbal plants and we have been able to obtain patent for the produced medicinal compounds,” Qassem Esmayeeli, the CEO of the Fanavar Kimiagar Group, which operates with the support of the Islamic Azad University, South Khorassan branch, told ANA on the sidelines of Asreh Omid event.
“In general, we have been able to manufacture 25 products by using herbal plants and commercialized them. Among the products are creams for reducing blood sugar and curing varicose veins which were made for the first time in Iran,” he added.
Iran is a leading country in the field of medicine with thousands of years of background in the field. In recent years, the country has initiated a project to further tap into the capacities of the traditional herbal medicine.
Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 01, 2022 to exhibit new achievements, equipment and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of establishment of the Islamic Azad University.
