Russia to Host Iranian Construction Industry Technologists Late in March

TEHRAN (ANA)- A delegation of Iranian businesspersons active in the field of construction industry are due to visit Moscow on March 26 to April 2.

Supported by the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, the trip will be made in coordination with Iran House of Innovation and Technology in Russia (iHiT Russia) in cooperation with Moscow State University.

Knowledge-based, technological and creative companies with the priority of manufacturers and exporters in the field of construction industry can use this opportunity and become acquainted with the capabilities and industrial and know-how infrastructure of their Russian counterparts. This will also help to develop the market of Iranian knowledge- based companies.

Holding face-to-face meetings with the largest mass builders and companies active in the Russian construction industry in cooperation with the Union of Industrialists and Businesses of Russia, visiting the Mosbuild2023 exhibition and preparing an exclusive report on the activities of each company with the help of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Moscow are on the agenda of people present in the trip.

Earlier reports also said that a joint international technology and entrepreneurship center will be launched in cooperation between Iran and Russia in the near future.

Representatives of a number of Russian startups recently visited Iran and met with Behrouz Abtahi, vice-chancellor of Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti University.

During the meeting, Abtahi announced readiness to enhance joint startup activities and to launch an international technology and entrepreneurship center.

With 49 science and technology parks and 7,500 technological companies and numerous knowledge-based companies, Iran enjoys valuable experiences in the field of science and technology.
