Iranian Researchers Develop New Generation of Recirculating Chillers

TEHRAN (ANA)- A new generation of recirculating chillers was developed by researchers at the Iranian institute for nanotechnology engineering.

These chillers are silent and their temperature control is more accurate.

Recirculating chillers combine a continuous flow of temperature-controlled liquid with high pressure to remove heat from equipment, materials, and components.

They also help automate various chemical and scientific workflows and processes.

The new generation of chillers or mini-circulators does not have compressors and evaporators.

These chillers have special uses and applications in medical, pharmaceutical, and research laboratories.

Recirculating chillers are made in different capacities and have a longer lifespan than other models.

Chillers are devices that use liquefaction to reduce temperature. The fluid can be used as a coolant in all kinds of devices and systems in industrial units and laboratories.

The chillers used in the industry are divided into two categories, namely compression and absorption, based on their working mechanism.

Conventional and classic chillers, despite their high capacity, are large in size and have great vibrations.

But the new generation of recirculating chillers is without vibration and noise using the thermoelectric effect.

Thanks to their high controllability, they are used in laboratories and research institutes and have gained a lot of popularity in recent years.
