Iranian Knowledge-Based Company Produces Nano Insulators to Bolster Bottom of Cars

The bottom sides of cars are exposed to all kinds of physical and chemical pressures such as splashing water, sand and gravel, mud, and stroke and friction, and if it is not protected, it will quickly be corroded and destroyed.

For that, an Iranian manufacturing and industrial knowledge-based company has produced a new insulator for the bottom of cars using nano technology, which protects the covering of the cars against heat, corrosion, humidity and other kinds of environmental hits.

High strength, color acceptability and excellent adhesion to all types of surfaces, non-settling, favorable fluidity, uniformity and non-staining are among the properties of the product, according to the news service of the Iranian Vice presidency for Science and technology.

The Iranian-made insulator, which was produced with the support of the Nano Technology Development Department of Vice Presidency is used in the different car parts, including the body, the fenders, pedals, rear and front bumpers, and also the vehicle frames. By using nano technology in this product, not only the problem of supplying materials was resolved to a significant extent, but also some of the product's properties such as durability, fluidity and strength have also been increased, the report added.

The report further said that with the help of the domestically-manufactured product, the quality of different auto parts has improved and also the country will no longer need imports, especially from China.
