Iranian Knowledge-Based Firm Manufactures Oil Evaporation Recycling Machine
According to the news service of the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology, Seyed Mohammad Samanbooy, manager director of an Iranian knowledge-based company pointed out that the oil evaporation recycling machine at oil reservoirs contributes significantly to environmental protection issues, saying that energy loss due to evaporation in various stages of storage, transportation and distribution of petroleum products takes place, which in addition to inflicting huge financial losses, it also has destructive environmental effects.
“Therefore, in order to prevent these losses, the machine for the vapor recovery at oil reservoirs was designed and manufactured. Some of the petroleum products evaporate during transportation and unloading at the fuel stations and also during storage, which causes financial losses to the fuel stations and the country in addition to the waste of the petroleum products,” he added.
Saying that the machine is installed in gas stations and oil reservoirs, Samanbooy added, “This product is an absorption refrigeration system that works at very low condensation temperatures and is able to convert vapor into gasoline.”
The managing director of the knowledge-based company further explained, “Today, the necessary support is not provided inside the country for the machines. Despite the fact that there is an Iran-made oil storage vapor recycling device that is priced a quarter of the imported foreign rivals, the oil companies inside the country have not contributed a fair share to develop it domestically.”
