Knowledge-Based Firms in Iran Develop Software to Collect Dry Waste

Environmental pollution, garbage accumulation, and lack of proper management in collecting garbage and waste are among the problems that put human health in danger, and all countries are searching for ways to settle the problem.

To help the problem, a software has been launched by using the capacities of knowledge-based companies in Iran which will soon start its work to collect dry waste from citizens.

The software is an online social platform for separating and collecting dry and separable waste. The program manages urban waste collection in an advanced and modern way and saves the earth from landfill.

The software render its services in the context of technology in a bid to help the protection of environment and improve the waste management cycle. The mission of this program is training for the promotion of the culture of segregation and separation of dry waste at the origin. The services of this program include renewable plastic, mechanized collection, smart bin and on-site waste segregation.

Waste management is an arena specially paid attention by the Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology of Iran which has always supported Iran-made products of the active and creative knowledge-based companies in this field.

Waste management or waste disposal includes the processes and actions required to manage waste from its inception to its final disposal. This includes the collection, transport, treatment and disposal of waste, together with monitoring and regulation of the waste management process and waste-related laws, technologies and economic mechanisms.

Waste can be solid, liquid, or gases and each type has different methods of disposal and management. Waste management deals with all types of waste, including industrial, biological, household, municipal, organic, biomedical and radioactive wastes.
