Iranian Knowledge-Based Firm Produces Mold Release Wax for Use in Different Industries
Mehdi Roshani, the managing director of the knowledge-based company said that molding industrial wax is a type of nanocomposite that is applicable in making sensitive parts in the military, aviation, and power plant industries.
Mold release agents can help manufacturers create accurate molded parts quickly and easily. Mold release products can significantly improve production times and help to prevent faults in molded products.
“By using this nanocomposite, first of all mold of sensitive parts (such as weapon parts or turbine blades) is made and then their metal parts are produced using the mentioned mold,” the managing director said.
He said that these mold release waxes are only produced in the three countries of the US, Germany and the UK, adding that his company has made Iran to become the fourth country in the world and the first in Asia to produce this mold release wax.
Roshani stated that all the raw materials of the product are available inside the country, adding, “We are currently cooperating with the major industries in the country, including Mapna, the Ministry of Defense, OTCC Oil Holding, which use our products to make turbine blades.”
He put the annual production capacity of the product in their company at 35 tons, adding, “Unfortunately, some industries still use English wax and because of the sanctions, they buy it at a high cost while the same Wax with the same quality and at a lower price is produced in Iran.”
