Scientists in Iran Produce Cost-Effective Water Filters
“Our research group operates under the title of Iranians’ Zagros Filter research group in Ahvaz which produces various kinds of filters for household water purification devices and industries’ water supply network,” Azita Koushafar, the head of the research group, told ANA on the sidelines of Asreh Omid Event.
She explained that eye-catching advantages of the product are its maximum absorption rate and the low price, adding that the final price is half the price of other filters.
“In addition, our product can be used in other areas, including agriculture, animal husbandry and pharmaceuticals,” Koushafar said.
She added that at present 10 people are working for the project, expressing the hope that the production line would further be expanded and more jobs be created with the support of the relevant officials.
Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 01, 2022 to exhibit new achievements, equipment and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of establishment of the Islamic Azad University.
