Iran to Launch Production Line of Home-Made Kit for Diagnosis of Human, Animal Diseases in Turkey

TEHRAN (ANA)- The production line of simultaneous diagnosis kit for human and animal diseases, made by an Iranian knowledge-based company, is due to be launched in Turkey by singing a contract.

“The subject of today's contract between our company and Turkey at the TIM2023 event is the technology transfer to our neighbor,” said Mohammad Ali Saremi, the head of the board of directors of the knowledge-based pharmaceutical company.

He described the research field of his company as production of veterinary kits with new technologies, and stated, “This product enjoy international quality and is produced at a very low price.”

“The final laboratory research on the kit and the process of obtaining the European standards have been finalized, and its production line will be launched in Turkey with the contract signed at this event,” Saremi said.

Noting that the kit can simultaneously diagnose veterinary and human diseases, he added that it is capable of diagnosing 16 diseases with one test.

In a relevant development, Iranian Researchers at the National Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology had also managed to produce veterinary diagnostic test kits on a commercial scale.

Veterinary diagnostic test kits can be used for gene expression profiling, target DNA quantification, microbial detection, and viral or bacterial pathogen load determination, and it is very helpful in the evaluation of primer pair performance for probe-based real-time PCR.

Investors from Group D8 and other world countries are participating in the TIM2023 startup event at Fardis Science and Technology Park in Iran.

TIM is an international event on the D8tten Technology Transfer and Exchange Network (D8-TTEN), which is held annually with the aim of technology investment through eight member states (Malaysia, Indonesia, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt, Nigeria, Turkey and Bangladesh).

This event has already been held in 2017, 2020, 2021 and 2022.

The event has various plans including, introducing startups with the aim of attracting investors, specialized panels, workshop courses, signing memoranda of understanding and joint venture agreements, and visiting the technology centers of Iran by foreign delegations.
