Iranian Company Keeps Up with Samsung in Producing Anti-Microbal Cases for Cell Phones

Manouchehr Montazeri, director general of the technological company said that his company's activity has concentrated on producing materials based on nanotechnology.

“Our main production focus is on the production of anti-microbal materials, such as anti-virus adhesive covers for surfaces,” the researcher said.

He pointed to the production of anti-virus mobile phone cases as one of the products of the company and stated, “This cover, which has aquired the approval of the Food and Drug Organization, is especially effective against viruses and causes the virus to disappear from mobile phones’ surfaces.”

Referring to the structure of the mobile phones protector, Montazeri said that for producing structure of the product, a combination of four nanoparticles was used, and then the obtained nanocomposite became antivirus and antibacterial."

The project manager also pointed to keeping the antibacterial feature of the product at different temperatures as another advantage of the knowledge-based product, adding that this type of phone case has so far been only produced by Samsung, and our product has the same properties and eliminates viruses and bacteria too.

According to him, the product is in the formulating stage for all types of phones and will enter the market by next month.
