Iranian Scientists Treat Different Diseases by Using Stem Cells Technology
Due to the high capabilities of stem cells they are used in treatment of numerous diseases from infertility to repairing damaged bones and cancer, and the Iranian knowledge-based companies have gained the know-how to use this technology.
A number of achievements of the Iranian knowledge-based companies in this field are as follows:
Semi-industrial production of the effective medicinal substance ‘cyclophosphamide monohydrate’ for patients receiving hematopoietic stem cell transplants and cancer patients,
The plan for production of the diagnostic kit for rupture of the amniotic sac,
Immunotherapy of breast cancer patients by using nanoparticles decorated with anti-CD40 monoclonal antibody,
The plan for launching the production chain of biological worms derived from stem cells,
Designing and manufacturing nanotechnological columns with organo-metallic framework structure with the capability to decide the level of immunoaffinity to extract and purify exosome with a very high level of purity and efficiency,
Designing automatic slide staining and liquid-based cytology with filters,
Designing, development and production plan of cell and tissue culture dishes,
Acquiring the technical know-how of making powder medium for cellular and microbial culture,
Providing microfluidic chips to isolate motile sperm without the need for centrifugation,
Making surgical simulators,
Fabrication of hydrogel scaffolds and using regenerative potential of exosomes derived from mesenchymal stem cells for regeneration of damaged bone tissue,
