Ghalibaf: Iran will never experience the humiliation of defeat
The text of the message by Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf reads as follows:
"The dawn of May 24 (Khordad 3rd) recalls the bravery of mujahideen who confronted the devil and tore our beloved Khorramshahr from the throat of a criminal like Saddam and the Ba'athist regime. It was a momentous day when the world witnessed with its own eyes the power of the will of the soldiers of the great Imam Khomeini (RA) and recorded their exemplary courage in history.
Brave mujahideen like Martyr Ahmad Kazemi and Martyr Ali Sayad Shirazi made the impossible possible and taught us that no tyrant can stand against the loving and faithful soldiers of Iran. A mujahid who practices planning, trust in God, and courage will feel the helping hand of the Merciful God on their shoulder and will never accept a deadlock.
Today, the soldiers of the brave Leader of the Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei (HA), who have been raised in the school of their martyred Imam, have astonished and bewildered the world with their bravery, keeping alive the memory of the commanders who conquered our beloved Khorramshahr.
These youths remind us of Kharrazi, Hemmat, Bagheri, Bakeri, Soleimani, and thousands of other heroes of this homeland. They are youths risen from the heart of the nation, representing their brothers and sisters on the streets within the battlefield.
Undoubtedly, May 24 is the beginning of the peerless bravery of Iranian combatants; combatants who, as stated by the leader of the Ummah, the martyred Ayatollah Al-Uzma Seyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, have 'Khorramshahrs ahead,' and Almighty God has blocked the path of defeat for them.
These are combatants who taught the world that glory and dignity belong to a nation that possesses faith, will, zeal, and courage alongside expertise and effort, and such a nation will never taste the bitter taste of defeat.
I commemorate this great, decisive, and proud day, which this year coincides with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Muhammad al-Baqir (AS). I send my greetings to the honorable nation of Iran and to the sublime souls of all commanders, combatants, and mujahideen who recorded such honors in every field, and I pray to Almighty God for the fulfillment of the prayers of Vali al-Asr (AJ) for the great nation of Iran."
