President Masoud Pezeshkian made the remarks during a visit to Tehran Province’s Emergency Organization, where he reviewed operational readiness and service performance, particularly during the recent 40-day conflict.

He praised emergency services as a vital pillar of national crisis response and said that maintaining public unity and institutional readiness would strengthen national resilience, stressing that “no power can bring this nation to its knees.”

Referring to the US-Israeli war of aggression against Iran, Pezeshkian reiterated that Iran does not seek war or instability but firmly rejects any attempt to impose external will or force submission.

He also criticized what he described as double standards in the international system, questioning the legality of targeting civilians and essential infrastructure such as schools and hospitals.

The president highlighted the unity of the Iranian people during the conflict, saying it helped frustrate the objectives of Iran’s adversaries.
