US and Israel Strike Multiple Petrochemical Facilities in Iran
(Tehran Ana)- The United States and Israel carried out airstrikes on four petrochemical facilities in Iran’s Mahshahr on Saturday, with local officials warning of a high likelihood of casualties, including deaths and injuries.
A senior security official in Khuzestan province has provided details of the brutal attack by American and Zionist terrorists on petrochemical companies in Mahshahr and the Shalamcheh border terminal.
Valiollah Hayati, the province's deputy governor for security and police affairs, told reporters on Saturday that Fajr 1 and 2, Rajal, and Amir Kabir petrochemical companies were hit during the airstrike on Mahshahr.
He added that the likelihood of casualties, including deaths and injuries, from the attack is very high.
