Araghchi Signals Escalation Risk Between Iran, US, and Israel
(Tehran Ana)- Iran warns Washington and Tel Aviv against further aggression, linking current conflict to strategic energy interests in the region.
“There’s one striking difference between the present and the Stone Age: there was no oil or gas being pumped in the Middle East back then,” Araghchi said in his X account.
“Are POTUS and Americans who put him in office sure that they want to turn back the clock?”, he noted.
The Israeli and US terrorist armies started a war of aggression on Iran on February 28 by assassinating the leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and massacring about 170 students and staff members in a school in Minab, southern Iran. In response, the Iranian military started to hit the Israeli regimes and the interests of the United States in the region.
