Iran Shoots Down Two US Fighter Jets, Including Second F-35, in Escalating Retaliation
Iranian forces have downed two advanced US fighter jets, including an F-35, while striking a secret American pilot base in the UAE as part of the ongoing Operation True Promise 4.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) reported shooting down a stealth F-35 in central Iran and another advanced fighter near Qeshm Island. The downed jets add to US aviation losses, including previously damaged F-35s, F-15s, and a KC-135 tanker.
Simultaneously, Iranian forces launched missile and drone attacks on US military assets and personnel hideouts in the UAE, causing significant casualties. Strikes also targeted Israeli-occupied areas, hitting military installations and forcing residents into shelters.
The IRGC stated these operations continue, signaling a broad escalation against both US and Israeli positions in the region.
