Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, and Hakan Fidan, Turkey’s Foreign Minister, held a telephone discussion to exchange views on the consequences of continued U.S. and Israeli military actions targeting Iran.

During the call, Araghchi expressed appreciation for Turkey’s and other regional countries’ efforts to end the imposed conflict, describing the aggressions and crimes committed by the United States and Israel as the primary source of regional insecurity.

He highlighted that "the main problem lies in the contradictory behavior and unreasonable demands of the American side," noting that their inconsistent actions and statements have increased skepticism toward their intentions.

Fidan acknowledged Iran’s concerns, noting that the country’s skepticism is understandable given that it has faced military attacks twice during ongoing negotiations. He reaffirmed Turkey’s commitment to playing a constructive role in resolving the crisis.

The two ministers agreed to continue bilateral consultations and maintain coordination with other regional nations to address the evolving situation.
