Natanz Enrichment Facility Targeted Again in US-Israeli Attack; No Radiation Leak Reported
The Natanz Nuclear Facility, also known as the Shahid Ahmadi Roshan enrichment complex, was targeted again on the morning of March 21, 2026.
The attack is considered a violation of international laws and commitments, including the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and other regulations related to nuclear safety and security.
Following the incident, technical and specialized assessments were conducted by Iran’s National Nuclear Safety System Center to evaluate the possiblity of radioactive contamination in and around the facility.
Based on the findings, authorities announced that, due to prior safety measures, planning, and data recorded by monitoring systems, no radioactive leakage has been detected at the site. Officials further confirmed that there is no threat to residents living in surrounding areas.
