In addition to its henious crimes all around Iran, the US started extensive and heavy bombardment on Kharg and Abu Musa islands in the Persian Gulf on March 13, Iran’s ambassador and permanent representative to the UN Amir-Saeid Iravani wrote in his letter.

These illegal attacks specifically targeted Kharg Island, which is considered as a vital infrastructure for energy and oil exports. These attacks have endangered non-military infrastructures, he added.

Immediately after this irresponsible attack, the US President Donald Trump in a statement on social media explicitly claimed the responsibility of these attacks and threatened to target all oil installations and infrastructures in this Island, he stated.

Earlier speaking in an exclusive interview with MS Now, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the latest US-Israeli airstrikes on two southern Iranian islands were conducted from the UAE soil, adding that this shows the anti-Iran attacks are carried out from the territory of its neighbors.

“These last night attacks were tracked by our forces and now it is clear that they are fired from the UAE, from two locations in the UAE, from in Rasul Khayma and from a location very close to the city of Dubai. And it is very dangerous that they use highly populated areas to launch rockets against we would certainly retaliate but we try to be careful not to attack any populated area.”

The US terrorist army conducted airstrikes on the Persian Gulf islands of Kharg and Abu Musa, two weeks after the country along with Israel launched their war of aggression against Iran, which has so far left more than 1,400 civilians killed.
